The KidLit Authors Club

The KidLit Authors Club is made up of authors from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland who have banded together to promote, market, and sell their books at bookstores, schools, libraries, conferences, and festivals primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region. We love to do book signings, appear on panels, present about the craft of writing and the publishing industry, teach writing workshops, and visit K-12 schools.

Not even a pandemic can stop us! Together and independently, we’ve participated in the following virtual events: regional and national conferences, book festivals, reading council meetings, nErDCamps, book club discussions, library story times, writing programs, classroom and bookstore Q & A sessions, and school presentations.

Combined, the members of the KidLit Authors Club have decades of experience that will help make your event a success!
We strive to maintain a balance between picture book, middle grade, and young adult authors to best serve event planners and educators, so we are currently accepting applications for new members. We are looking for authors who have a past, current, or forthcoming traditionally published children’s book, and who are committed to book promotion in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Special consideration will be given to BIPOC writers and illustrators and those from other marginalized communities. Debut authors welcome.
