The KidLit Authors Club
The KidLit Authors Club is made up of authors from NJ, PA, MD and VA who have banded together to promote, market, sign,
and sell their books at bookstores, schools, libraries, conferences, and festivals. We are a diverse group with experience in
speaking to audiences large and small, and we love to do signings, appear on panels, and present writing workshops
and auditorium programs to students K-12.

So, what makes us so special?
We are all children’s book authors! Our books are published by major publishers and are out now, or are forthcoming.
Some of us have been writing for years, and some of us are just getting started.

Imagine hosting an event where picture book authors, along with middle-grade and young adult novelists, have the opportunity
to share their love of writing and reading with kids of all ages! Every child in the room gets to meet an author and take

Since we make every event a celebration of children’s books, we bring balloons; we hold drawings for prizes, give out
party bags, read books, and have various activities for the kids.
